Marcela Ronquillo

Marcela Ronquillo is an international leader in sustainability and conservation, with over a decade of experience driving strategic projects that integrate science, technology, and high-level alliances to tackle climate change and protect ecosystems.

She served as Executive Director of EarthX LATAM, the world’s largest environmental platform, where she collaborated with governments, institutions, multilateral organizations, global corporations, and NGOs to accelerate impactful climate actions. She is a specialist in The Future of Circular Economy from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

Currently, she is the Founder and CEO of Newspace Capital LLC, a firm dedicated to developing innovative projects that connect Earth and space, and founder of Earth Carbon LLC, a company focused on ecosystem conservation and the development of carbon credit projects under international standards, in collaboration with BCarbon, EarthOptics, and the SSPEED Center at Rice University - Baker Institute.

Her voice has resonated on international stages as part of the Forbes Speakers team, where she participates as a keynote speaker on women’s leadership, environmental conservation, circular economy, and sustainable innovation.
