Houston, TX. Woodside Energy

It was a true pleasure to meet with the Woodside Energy team in Houston. We express our sincere gratitude for the warm welcome and the opportunity to present our mission and strategic vision, focused on developing high-integrity carbon credits and sustainable solutions that protect and restore key ecosystems such as La Laguna Madre and the El Cielo Biosphere Reserve in Tamaulipas, Mexico.
As part of our ongoing work, Earth Carbon collaborates closely with the Government of Tamaulipas — through Secretary Ninfa Cantú Deándar (Economy) and Secretary Karina Saldívar (Sustainable Development and Environment) — as well as with David Lerma from CONANP, Mexico’s federal conservation agency. Together, we are setting shared goals for the long-term preservation of Tamaulipas’ extraordinary ecosystems. We were deeply impressed by Woodside Energy’s Trion Platform Project and the strong commitment the company demonstrates to sustainable energy development in the Gulf of Mexico. Their leadership and dedication to innovation and environmental stewardship inspire confidence and partnership. We look forward to aligning our efforts toward a shared purpose — conserving the natural wealth of Tamaulipas and contributing meaningfully to global climate goals.
For the Earth, with purpose and integrity.
