During the recent international EarthX Monterrey meeting, the Environment Secretariats of Tamaulipas, Nuevo León, and Coahuila—represented by Karina Saldívar, Alfonso Martínez Muñoz, and Susana Estens de la Garza, respectively—shared experiences, progress, and proposals to advance toward a regional green economy, anchored in conservation and new economic opportunities such as ecotourism and carbon offsets.

The private sector also joined this effort, represented by investors, entrepreneurs, and sustainability specialists such as Carlos González Pacheco, Ivonne Lobato, and Ana Sofía Gómez, who reaffirmed their willingness to collaborate with the state to translate this vision into profitable, measurable, and socially responsible projects.

Climate leadership will have a Tamaulipas stamp, because Tamaulipas isn't waiting for others to lead the way. It is forging it with alliances, science, and political determination.
